Destinations - Kovalam
 

This is a world famous beach 16 km south of Thiruvananthapuram.  Kovalam has three adjacent crescent beaches.  These beaches are separated by rocky headland.  The southern most beach is more famous and is known as light house beach.  Kovalam has a  number of places to stay ranging from cheap lodges to upmarket resorts.

Due to its natural location Kovalam beach is safe for see bath even in rough weather condition. Kovalam curves a silver crescent around a sheltered bay and tall palm trees provide privacy for sun bath.  Kovalam also has other facilities for water sports and those who like adventure can opt for a ride on the fishing catamarans.
