Day 01: HOUSEBOAT Arrive at Cochin by Air or by Rail.
Warm welcome on arrival and proceed to Alleppey for an overnight stay
in the house boat.
Kerala is a land of serene backwaters
and palm fringed lakes. A cruise in a Houseboat is a journey through
the heartland of Kerala providing unique and cherish able
experience. A houseboat is a "Kettuvallam" (originally used
to carry cargo) converted and modified with modern facilities but at
the same time reflecting the tradition. Only natural locally available
materials are used for making the Kettuvallam. Coir matted decks and
canopies made of split bamboo and palm trees add tradition to the
making of a modern Houseboats.
The tradition is
also reflected in the meals that is served in the houseboat. Among
other divine dishes the meal include famed karimeen or fresh water
prawns. One can also stop along the way in a local tea shop or
stroll along the paddy fields that are cultivated below the sea
level. One can also try their luck in fishing and the fresh catch
will be cooked for you in the boat itself.
Day 02:
DEPARTURE
After break fast check out from house boat . In time transfer to Airport /Railway station for onward
destination/back home.
